In the sewing room today

Well its more about inspiration than actual sewing today.  Here is the latest inspiration board for my new whale quilt.featuring about 90% organic fabrics in a muted colour scheme of soft baby blues, grays and a lemon yellow.

Be sure to contact me if you see something you are interested in on here or on Facebook  as I am finding that some things aren’t actually making it to my etsy shop at all.  Do you think it is fair to allow this or do you think it should be listed and its a first in best dressed scenario..am interested to know what you might prefer.

I can list on a made to order basis but at the moment I’m trying to keep things listed in the shop mostly ready to ship so i don’t get too many orders..i want to use my time to create new and exciting quilts for you.

And speaking of designs that won’t make it to the shop check out first pics of the yellow and gray elephant set..i have been holding it back till i can photograph it in the crib with some chevron mix and match pieces.

They look so lovely Nicole. I’ve been returning to yellow and grey over the last few weeks. Everytime I see it together I’m struck by what lovely a combination it is. Your moodboard is lovely and I love the little whale. I’m not sure on your question – I guess if I saw your progress I would love to see it on your Etsy store but then I’d be forward enough to commission one for myself. I understand your listing ready to ship, I think that’s a good tactic.
I’d love to know where you sourced your organic fabric from – but understand if you don’t want to share.
